2025 – The Year of Heart

Do You Choose a Word of the Year?

As we step into a brand-new year, many people set resolutions or create detailed plans to guide them. While there’s nothing wrong with those approaches, I’ve found that focusing on a single word as my light to provides clarity, direction, and a sense of purpose.

This year, I’ve been led to the word Heart.

Why focus on one word? For me, it’s about creating an anchor—something simple yet profound that I can return to throughout the year. A word like “Heart” reminds me of what matters most, serving as a filter for my decisions, actions, and mindset.

But this word isn’t just about personal growth; it’s also a reflection of the faith that grounds my life. God has given me a heart to care for others and a business through which I can share blessings and encouragement. Choosing “Heart” reminds me that my work and relationships are part of His plan to make an impact in the lives of those around me.

How Will I Focus on Heart This Year?

1. Leading with Heart in Relationships

God calls us to love one another, and this year, I want to show up for my loved ones with even more kindness, understanding, and gratitude. Whether it’s spending time with family, nurturing friendships, or lending a listening ear, I want my connections to be heartfelt and rooted in love.

2. Serving with Heart in My Business

I believe my business is a gift—a way to not only support my family but also serve others. Through my work, I want to bring joy, hope, and inspiration to those I meet. Whether it’s sharing a product that makes someone’s life a little easier or creating a community where people feel valued, or supporting a local charity, my goal is to serve with heart and reflect God’s love in every interaction.

3. Listening to My Heart in Wellness

Our bodies are a gift, and this year, I’ll focus on honoring mine by taking steps to care for it in practical and meaningful ways. Some ways I’ll work on this include utilizing the resources available to me, like prioritizing lunchbreak workouts, nourishing my body with good food, staying hydrated, and being consistent with my supplement routine to support my overall well-being. Taking care of myself isn’t just about feeling better physically—it’s about being better equipped to serve others and live out God’s purpose for my life.

4. Living with Heart in Everyday Moments

Faith reminds me that every moment is a gift, and I want to live with gratitude and presence. With “Heart” as my word, I’ll strive to approach each day with courage, compassion, and trust in God’s plan—whether it’s in big decisions or small, everyday moments. Starting the day in His Word will help me listen for guidance.

Why Heart?

“Heart” represents love, courage, authenticity, and connection—all things that feel especially meaningful to me right now. It also reminds me of the greatest commandments Jesus gave us: to love God and love others. By focusing on Heart, I’m choosing to live in alignment with His teachings, letting His love guide my actions and intentions.

What About You?

Do you choose a Word of the Year to focus on? If so, what’s your word? If not, I encourage you to give it a try! One word can help center your goals, align your actions, and bring clarity to your journey.

Let’s make 2025 a year filled with heart, purpose, and faith. Whatever your word may be, I pray it inspires you to live your best life and embrace each day with passion, joy, and trust in His plan.
