I went for a mental health walk today to get some sun as I grieve the loss of our beloved dog Bruiser after 13 years. The best cure for heartache? Reaching out and giving!

In the patchwork quilt of our lives, there are threads that represent the deepest parts of our hearts. For me, those threads include a love for law enforcement, family, and a passion for sharing beauty, grace, and encouragement. Today, I’m thrilled to share a project that brings all these elements together – the Glimmer & Grace Blessings Campaign.

Deputy Kaitie Leising left us on May 6, 2023, while serving on the front lines. Her loss hit our community hard, but her legacy of positivity, family values, and community love endures. Kaitie wasn’t just an officer; she was described by her superior officers as a bright shining star. That’s why we’re on a mission to keep her light shining through our communities and in memoriam at the Government Center. We help do this through our Glimmer & Grace Blessings Campaign.

As we move forward, it’s essential to recognize and appreciate the brave men and women who wear their badges with pride every day, ready to protect and serve. They’re the true heroes in our neighborhoods, often going above and beyond to keep us safe.

We owe them more than just gratitude; we owe them our unwavering support and acknowledgment of the sacrifices they make. Our law enforcement officers are the backbone of our communities, and they deserve to know that we stand with them, just as Kaitie did.

For me, life’s magic lies in finding beauty, grace, and encouragement in everyday moments. Through the Glimmer & Grace Blessings Campaign, we aim to harness the power of these qualities to make a real difference. Every nail polish, lipstick, or makeup product purchased, every party hosted, and every new referral helps us get closer to our mission.

God has placed a BIG donation on my heart, and I need help from my friends. In February 2024, I will be donating a minimum of 10% of my business sales to the Honor Kaitie Foundation to help fund her family and the St. Croix County Honor Guard’s attendance at the National Law Enforcement Memorial Ceremonies during National Police Week.
