I love that our Foundation gives back and this month we have a special Glimmer and Grace opportunity to support local first responders and military veterans!

Color Street and the Color Street Foundation are proud to support Military & Veteran Appreciation with a $100,000 USD donation to two charity partners, as well as the launch of a specially designed nail strip. Support Military & Veteran Appreciation with Heart of the Hero, a light glittery silver with red and blue camo and heart designs.

Our charity partners, Tragedy Assistance Program for Survivors (TAPS) and K9s For Warriors, are incredible organizations that provide programs to support service members, veterans, and their families.

• A $60,000 USD pledge to TAPS will support their mission to provide comfort, care, and resources to those grieving the death of a military loved one.
• A $40,000 USD pledge to K9s for Warriors will help fund their mission to provide highly-trained service dogs to veterans suffering from PTSD, traumatic brain injury, and/or military sexual trauma.
• $1.00 from every set of Heart of the Hero purchased through any of my links through February, will be donated to Cast & Hook Fishing.

In addition to the National organizations being supported by the Foundation, we’ve set up a special link for Glimmer Gal Lindsay P.’s Cast & Hook Fishing organization. Cast & Hook Fishing serves first responders and military veterans struggling with PTSD.  The goal of Cast & Hook Fishing is to provide a better quality of life for First Responders and Veterans in our community that are struggling with PTSD. We do so by providing them with healthy options to cope with mental health and job-related stressors. The objective of this project is to decrease the negative effects of PTSD within our participants by providing them with healthy options to decompress and manage stress rather than turning to unhealthy strategies and addictive substances which are detrimental to their health and wellness. Every order placed under this link will result in a donation to Cast & Hook (In addition to the Heart of the Hero donation!)
